I used the July sketch from Artful Delight for a layout of the fireworks my daughters and I saw on July 4th. The girls choose to go into town to watch the fireworks over the bay.  I worked until nine and decided to stop at the ball stadium on the way home to see their display. Of course the ball game went extra innings and the fireworks didn't start until 11:24.

I also followed the challenge at Scrap Our Stash to use 3 pre-made star embellishments. Red Carpet Studio's challege is to use stars. I've had the star confetti forever, as well as the felt star.  I think the patterned paper is from Target's dollar section from a couple years ago. Again I've journaled way too close to the edge to be able to crop the picture well.  I just don't learn.

Next up is Lori. Hop on over to see her fabulous project.

In case you get lost here is the entire lineup.

  23. I'm dying here! I am working on a LO with the exact same sketch for the exact same challenges (although I am going to add the S.W.A.T. challenge {Red, White and Blue} http://swatscrapwarriorsadvancedtraining.blogspot.com/2013/06/red-white-blue-blog-hop.html)
I'm taking a more "inspired by" approach to the sketch, though, so we'll see how that goes over, LOL!
