The challenge this week at Lasting Memories is Leaving Footprints Behind. I thought that was perfect for a baby shower album. I remembered how we would make footprints on windows using the side of our hands and thumb prints. I laid my hand on paper and traced around the side, cut out four copies, used a paper punch to make 16 circles for toes and then placed my "foot prints" on pink cardstock and misted with glimmer mist in marshmellow. These are much easier to see in real life. All the guests at the shower signed the baby blanket with a fabric pen.

  1. What an awesome idea Vicki. I will have to try this. Thanks for creating with us at Lasting Memories this week.

  2. Okay... so I never knew that trick with using the side of your hand??!! Great idea! Your Hand print looks just like a foot print. Good idea for a baby page... you are right. Thanks for joining us at Lasting Memories this week.

  3. First off, I had to laugh at Michele's comment - REALLY? Wow!! You'll be trying it soon and the kid's will have a blast! LOL!

Vicki - What a VERY creative idea! I love this and remember doing this as well. What a fun page! Thanks for joining us at Lasting Memories this week!!

  6. I've never seen the hand/foot technique done as a mask for misting. Mostly just inking the hand and stamping. Love your take on the challenge

  7. Yet another fantastic page Vicki!!! Thanks for playing with Lasting memories!!
