The challenge at Papercraft Star was photo inspiration. I took the colors, orange, white, gray and yellow to create this layout of my brother and I in 1957. He was only two years old and had a great time filling up mom's crossword puzzle book with x's. I loved that old chair with the wide, flat arms. Mom never had to scold to not sit on the arms. But that wallpaper. The whole decor just screams 1950s.

  1. How special that this photo was taken of you and your brother. I love the large, wide-armed sofa - it sure looks like the perfect place to cuddle up with a great crossword puzzle. Thanks for sharing your layout with us at Papercraft Star!

Isn't it funny what sticks in our memories from childhood. :-) So glad you joined us again for this weeks Papercraft Star challenge Vicki! It's always nice to have you come and play.
