Brain Freeze

When I saw this week's sketch at Sketchy Thursdays I knew exactly what pictures of my grandson Charlie that I wanted to use.

I had snapped these last week Saturday when we went out for ice cream.

Papercraft Star Challenge #10

The challenge this week at Papercraft Star is a card sketch. My grandson turned 10 this week so I made him a birthday card. I love this paper with the silly birds and added goggle eyes to the sentiment.

NO Bingo

My daughters and I played bingo at the fair on August 9th (8/9/10), but it wasn't lucky for us.

Thoughts 2 Paper Entry

Today's layout is another in my series on the trip my husband and I took around Lake Superior in 1995. Pictures were taken at Ouimet Canyoun. This layout is based on Sketch #8 at Thoughts 2 Paper. Deadline to link is September 4th for those who want to play along.

Scrappin-n-Chattin Blog Hop

Here is my project. A layout of my daughter, from 1974. (Okay I'm a little behind on the baby pictures.)

One of this month's challenges at S-n-C is "out of the box" - try something you've never done before.

I have never used glitter on chipboard before.

I first painted the chipboard letters white.

I used a glue stamp pad to cover each letter with adhesive quickly.

I then sprinkled the letters with glitter. Very messy but I'm happy with the outcome.

Papercraft Star Challenge #7

This weeks challenge at Papercraft Star was to use the photo given as inspiration. I pulled the white, black, gray and yellow from the photo to come up with this layout. I know, flowers and lace for a boy. But I only have grandsons so they better get used to it.

Moose Mountain

The challenge over at The Studio Challenges is to mask something. I found a wood cutout of a moose and thought it would work perfectly with some pictures taken at Moose Mountain in Minnesota.

Mosaic Layout

One of the August challenges over at Scrappin-n-chattin is to make a mosaic layout that covers the entire page. This is my attempt. The pictures are from last month's trip to Mackinac Island, MI.
