I Got You

This is why Charlie wanted me to take pictures while he got closer (see previous post). So he could get right up to me and scare the heck out of me. LOL. Such a crazy kid. I made this layout following the recipe at Kraft It Up.

1 Piece of Kraft Cardstock or Patterned Paper
2 Photos of any size
A 3 word title
4 different pieces of patterned paper and
5 different embellishments

I used twine, brads, buttons a flower and a googly eye as my embellies. I am also entering at Frosted Designs for the Fabulous Friday challenge to use kraft paper.

Closer - ScrapFit #63

I had no idea why Charlie wanted me to take pictures of him as he came closer. But he loves to swim and we try to make going downstate to see the doctor a treat by letting him spend time in the pool. So I took the pictures as he asked. I used the sketch from ScrapFit - workout #63.

Cardstock from my stash (wish I knew where I got this because I love the color)
Patterned paper and buttons from my stash

Clown

I love this sketch from Let's Get Sketchy and made a layout using this sketch for a blog hop I'm in on Monday. Then I re-read the rules and found out the challenge at Let's Get Sketchy ends tonight. So I made another layout based on the sketch, this time of my grandson clowning around. As the journaling explains it's funny because he hates clowns.

In Like A Lion

After a mild winter, northern Michigan got hit by a blizzard the evening of March 2nd. Snow is the yard was over my knees and I sent my grandson to shake the snow from the poor birch tree before it broke. When I saw the sketch at Sketches In Thyme I knew it would be perfect for this picture.

My Baby

This layout is made with the sketch from Authentique. Photo is my daughter at about 8 months old.

I used:
cardstock from DCWV
patterned paper from Authentique - Journey collection
title from American Crafts tickers in sparkling
lace from my stash
rose from thrift store
silver flower from Prima
gems from stash
flower ribbon from Ben Franklin

Can Do

When I saw this tree made of canned goods at my grandson's school I knew I needed a picture to scrap. I used the March sketch from A2Z Scraplet. The white tree embellie is a felt ornament.

Big Day

I totally love this sketch from Creative Scrappers. Photo is of my mother and aunt on my mother's wedding day in 1950. Cardstock from DCWV, silver flowers from Prima, patterned paper, ribbon, flourish and fabric flowers from my stash.

I am also linking this to Pink Cricut's link up party - a great place of inspiration.
