Frosted Designs Sketch #18

My youngest sister-in-law as a toddler is again the subject of my layout, this time following sketch #18 at Frosted Designs.

Papercraft Star Challenge #51

 

The challenge this week at Papercraft Star is to use the above photo at inspiration. I used the colors of the photo (pink, gray/silver, white) to make the layout below of my youngest sister-in-law when she was a toddler.

To Wish

This layout of Charlie's 13th birthday is based on the sketch at Sketchy Thursdays. Since we couldn't decided whether to get a chocolate cake or a yellow cake, we got him one of each.

Spring 1950

The Fabulous Friday challenge at Frosted Designs is to use black, white and one color. I picked blue as my color and made a layout of my mother-in-law, her sister, their mother and mother's boyfriend. Since the little ones are with my mother-in-law, I am basing the date on the infant's age.

This layout is for the 6/14 sketch challenge at Frosted Designs. Photos are of my grandson at his band concert in May 2011.

When Dad was Young

The challenge at Lasting Memories this week is to use the above photo as inspiration. I chose to make a layout about my father. He is about 4 or 5 in the photo which is only a photocopy - sure wish I had the original.

In the Middle

Based on the sketch at Scrappin-n-chattin this layout is for the challenge at The Paper Variety to make a summer themed project. I used Artful Delight's June kit. Love the sewing pattern paper flower. The photos were taken at the 45th parallel, half way between the North Pole and the Equator, in 1982.
