Bronner's

Another layout from our trip to Bronner's Christmas Wonderland store, this one is based on the sketch and theme at Craft Steals Blog.

Magic

There was a show on the Travel Channel several years ago that featured Bronner's Christmas Wonderland store. Since seeing the show I had wanted to visit the store and finally got my chance on July 16th. This layout of my grandson enjoying the store is based on Frosted Designs sketch #20.

From This Day

Second layout of my coworker's wedding, this one is for the fabulous Friday buttons challenge at Frosted Designs.

United

This layout, of a coworker's wedding, follows the sketch at Sketchy Thursdays.

Read

The challenge at Papercraft Star was photo inspiration. I took the colors, orange, white, gray and yellow to create this layout of my brother and I in 1957. He was only two years old and had a great time filling up mom's crossword puzzle book with x's. I loved that old chair with the wide, flat arms. Mom never had to scold to not sit on the arms. But that wallpaper. The whole decor just screams 1950s.

Legacy

The Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge is to use a vintage photo. I used a picture taken in 1915 of my grandson's great-great-great-great-grandparents Joseph and Mary Steinebach.

Being Silly

This layout is for the sketch challenge at The Paper Variety. My grandson normally hides, covers his face with his hand, pulls down his hat or does something to prevent having his picture taken. When he was in a silly mood at his cousin's birthday party I had to get some shots of him.
